Robin Green, CSCS, LMT, CPTS has been in the health and fitness field for almost 15 years as a massage therapist and strength and conditioning coach. Although she focuses on working with endurance athletes, her clients include men and women of all ages and athletic goals. Robin attended SUNY at Albany and after graduating with a degree in finance worked in the family retail business until moving to Florida. In 1992, she decided to change her career and become a licensed massage therapist. Robin began cycling and competing in local triathlons in 1997 and her clientele soon included many of the athletes that she was training with and racing against. Prescribing exercise and stretch routines to rehab the injuries she was treating was steadily becoming a bigger part of each massage appointment. Training for triathlons and other distance events offered her a unique understanding of the overuse injuries commonly seen among many endurance athletes. Robin decided to go back to school for exercise physiology and is now a certified strength and conditioning coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a Health Fitness Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine.
