Karen Jashinsky, Certified Trainer, Nutritionist and MBA, been training teens for about six years. She was recognized for the development of her visionary concept of a fitness ‘hub’ and safe haven for teens and named “One of the 25 young leaders in the fitness industry” by IHRSA (International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association), the fitness trade organization. She also started an annual free music and fitness festival for teens called Energy Rocks, now in its third year. She has authored articles on teen fitness, health and nutrition and was herself, the subject of a five-part series called “Diary of a Startup” in Entrepreneur magazine.

Layne Norton is a natural pro bodybuilder who is pursuing his Ph.D. in Nutritional Science at the University of Illinois with focus on the regulation of skeletal muscle protein metabolism by dietary protein intake. Layne graduated with honors from Eckerd College in 2004 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines including Ironman, Muscular Development, Fitness and Physique, Planet Muscle, FitnessRx for Men, and others. He has been a guest speaker at the International Society for Sports Nutrition and has his own webcast on bodybuilding.com called Inside the Life of a Pro Natural Bodybuilder. Layne owns BioLayne LLC, a consulting business for athletes, physique enthusiasts, and competitors. He recently released his first DVD titled Layne Norton Unleashed.
